Hengstenkeuring-Stallion Show in Den Bosch (Early February) If there is only one time you can go to Holland, this is it.  This tour gives a fantastic overview of the Dutch horse.  This show is packed with activities.  You will see 3 days of final selection of the Riding, Gelders and Tuigpaard types for the stallion tests, finals of the jumping and dressage Stallion Competitions, the VHO-Trophy for jumping and the Oregon Trophy for driving, and incredible demonstrations in dressage, jumping and driving.  You will experience the enthusiasm and crowd cheering that depicts Holland's love for their horses.  You will not be able to resist the great prices and selection at the trade show.  The finale and highlight of the Show is the Annual Select Sale of 3-year old stallions.  You could go home the new owner of a stallion! For more information.

KWPN Paardendagen-“Horse Days” (August)  Beginning with Tuigpaardendag, (Dutch Harness Horse day) on Saturday, the following week is a KWPN Paardendagen extravaganza!  Watch the selection of the 3-year old mare free jumping champion, the 3-year old ster champion and the keur mare champion.  Pick your favorite during the selection of the top foals of Holland.  Watch the Pavo Cup Finals (Dressage series for 4 & 5 year olds) and the Ian Trophy Finals (jumping series for 4 - 7 year olds).  Participate with the Dutch in honoring their Breeders of the Year.  For more information.

Watching a fitting and showing presentation by Alexandra Wiebedink and eating orange royal wedding M&Ms.

Hengstenkeuring-1st Round Stallion Selection (November) For the serious horse person only.  Experience the final exam day of the Fall 70 day stallion test and the viewing of over 700 2-year old stallion hopefuls being presented for the first round of selection.  Stallions are first shown in hand and trotted “on the street”.  Stallions that pass the in-hand presentation are then free-jumped and selected for the famous Den Bosch Stallion Show in February.  An incredible opportunity to learn the type of horse and the characteristics each stallion in Holland is producing.  Also a great time to go horse shopping!  For more information.

We have a good time in Holland with lots of fun.  Hotel rooms are pre-approved by Barb and most ground transportation is included.  You will receive help in learning the Dutch culture.  And best of all, you will meet and be with fellow horse lovers.  We often reserve a few days before or after each trip for group visits to farms and other spots of interest.  With our many contacts, we can help you find and import the Dutch horse of your dreams- just let us know what you want.  We do not represent just a few breeders, we represent all breeders in Holland and America.
